Season two of the popular Netflix original Sex Education came out this weekend and its solid gold. For real. It's the best season two of a television show I have seen in a long time.

If you haven't seen it then let me enlighten you. Otis is a teenager in a typical high school. His mother is a sex therapist and he is very embarrassed by it. When kids start asking him for sex advice he and the resident bad girl Maeve start a business.

In season two Otis' mom starts working at the school and taking all their business. Otis is fine with it because Maeve is gone and he wasn't comfortable with the idea anyway. Plus, he has a girlfriend now.

I think one of the best things about Sex Education is that it's an honest look at teenagers and their sex lives. It's not all sex of course but it doesn't make anyone's sex lives seem awkward or weird.

You start to fall in love with the characters. Otis and Eric have a really great relationship where they can talk about anything (or just about anything) and they honestly love each other. Where would they be without each other? Then you have the hard-edged Maeve and the, let's be honest, ditzy Aimee who grows so much in season two.

Of course, there is relationship drama, lots of sex and lots of growth but if you don't fall in love with this show by the end of season one and even more by the end of season two then there is something wrong with you.

I binged watched it all in one day, accidentally, and now I am upset that I watched it all so fast. So if you haven't seen this I would set aside an entire day because you will find yourself binging and getting caught up in the story. I highly recommend Sex Education and I can not wait until season three.
