The teens of Moordale Secondary School are back and things are just as chaotic as ever. It’s the last year of school for the characters and a new headteacher has arrived to make their lives easier…or so they hope.

The last time we reviewed Sex Education was when the first season came out. We praised it saying it was refreshing, something different than what we usually see on TV or streaming services. By season three we can confirm that yes, Sex Education is fantastic.

A lot of people will play this off as a vulgar or even obscene show that shouldn’t be viewed but Sex Education is so much more than the sexual nature of it. It touches on teenage love, sexual assault and how it affects you, and being gay when it’s not fully accepted.

This season, we see Jean trying to figure out how to tell Jakob about the baby, Otis is dating popular girl Ruby and Maeve is getting over Otis and getting closer to neighbor Isaac. The biggest question from the last season is will Maeve find out about the deleted voicemail from Otis?

Without giving too much away, because seriously go watch this show, Sex Education will make you laugh, cry and wish high school was as exciting as this show makes it seem. It touches on a lot of great topics like therapy after a traumatic incident, pregnancy and blending families, sadness and much more.

If you haven’t watched Sex Education then go do it. Stop reading this, take a vacation for a few days and watch it. It’s one of only a few tv shows I would call perfect.
